March 08 - Weigh In Day Lost 1.2 lbs

I forgot to add my weight lost last week, it was 1.8 lbs.  This week I lost 1.2 lbs.
Total lost 16 lbs.

February 23 - Weigh in Day - Lost 5 %











Today was weigh in day at weight watchers.  I lost 1.6 lbs this week making a total of 13 lbs.  That is also 5 % of my weight lost.  I am feeling healthier already, more energy and walking is  slightly easier.

February 18 - Weigh In on thursday and Dr OZ Snacks

I lost another .8 lbs this week. 
Total lost 11.4    Yay!
I'm averaging 1.6 lbs a week. 
I suppose this is the best way to do it so it will stay off.
Just watched a Dr Oz show about snacks.  He recommends a 200 calorie snack 1-2 hrs before dinner . The snacks much consist of 6G of fiber and 10G of protein. There is a list of 4 they made up for us, follow this link to them.

February 09 - 10 Pounds Down







Today is weigh in day at Weight Watchers.  I am very happy to announce I lost 1.6 lbs this week!
That gives me a total of 10.6 lbs.... Yay!!!!!!

February 2 - Weigh In Day - One Month Down

Today is weigh in day at Weight Watchers.  I lost 3.6 lbs this week!

Total for the first month 9 lbs!

I am so excited about that because last week I was getting discouraged because the weight was coming off so SLOWLY. I know slow and steady wins the race, but when I have so much to lose I want to see some weeks have a substantial weight loss.
When I told my daughter last week I was loosing too slowly, she asked whether I was trying hard enough.
 
She asked me several enlightening questions. 
Are you drinking you hot lemon water in the morning.....NO :-(,
Are you drinking 8 glasses of water every day....NO :-(,
Are you eating after 8pm.....YES :-(,
Are you eating the EXTRA points ....YES :-(.
Are you exercizing....NO :-(.

Sooooo this week I didn't even eat all my alloted daily points,
I had at least 3 points leftover every day. 
I did not even touch my extra 49 weekly points.
I drank hot lemon water every morning!
I started exercising.... water walking 2 times this week !
I stopped eating 3 to 4 hours before I went to bed !
The only thing I didn't do was dring 8 glasses of water EVERY day. I will work on that this week.

February 1 - Water Walking










Yesterday I decided to get back to the YMCA and begin to exercise again.  I started with Water Walking. I was able to get there yesterday and again today, both for at least 30 minutes.






I read online that a 30-minute walk in water was the equivalent of a two-hour walk on land, without the wear and tear on joints. I am not so sure of that comparison. I do know that my muscles are sore today, but that is not abnormal for me. I also found this online.."All factors being equal, walking one mile in the water provides a workout similar to walking two miles on land, burning up to twice the calories in the same amount of time. "And the body's buoyancy in water reduces impact on joints and provides a lower risk of injury.
